I worked in a high school for several years and have experience helping teens and their families with many life challenges including self-harm, suicidal ideations, depression, anxiety, divorce, family issues, physical and sexual abuse, trauma, identity confusion, isolation, self-esteem, immigration issues, parental incarceration, addiction, and sexuality. I provide a nonjudgemental space for teens to discuss their thoughts and feelings. I give them tools to help them face life's challenges.

I provide play therapy to children to help them develop healthy coping skills that will carry them out through life. I provide a trauma informed safe space that is tailored to their developmental stage. I help children work through issues of loss, divorce, school issues, family issues, abuse and trauma, as well as other life challenges. I provide parent coaching to empower parents to be apart of their child's healing journey.

I have extensive experience in working with complex-trauma. I utilize somatic practices and psycho-education to help clients name, express, and cope with the sensations in their bodies. I provide a safe space for clients to discuss their trauma as well as provide tools to help them calm their nervous systems and cope with their symptoms. My goal is to empower post-traumatic growth within my clients.

I utilize play therapy when working with children and adolescents because play is the main way children communicate. I have had several years using play therapy and believe it is one of the most tools to meet a child where they are at. I primarily use child-centered play therapy to empower children in their truest self. I will also use play therapy to help adolescent and adults tend to their inner child and provide a safe space for them to heal.

I incorporate somatic practices to help clients become in tune with their bodies and release the trauma stored within them. I use mindful movements such as trauma informed yoga, tapping, and deep breathing. I believe healing one's body is an important aspect of holistic healing and I focus on both the mind and body in my practice.

I truly believe in the healing power of nature and incorporate it in my practice when appropriate. I utilize nature-based therapy with clients of all ages. Nature-based therapy helps clients with feelings of connection, mindfulness, body sensations, relaxation, and much more. I am able to incorporate nature walks and outside sessions within my practice to provide more holistic healing.
