About My Clients

I help people who are suffering, feel stuck, and are struggling with many of life’s challenges, such as depression, anxiety, relationships, grief/loss, life transitions, low self-esteem, emotional eating and more. Through the therapeutic relationship we develop, and in a safe, supportive space, I will help you gain insight, discover new perspectives, and transform limiting patterns and dynamics. Together, we will help you get unstuck and find inner peace, true fulfillment and lasting well-being.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is integrative, blending elements of varied therapies and tailoring them to the your individual needs and personal circumstances. My work is informed by various approaches including, yet not limited to relational psychoanalysis, depth therapy, humanistic perspective, attachment theory, developmental psychology and mindfulness-based approaches. I strongly believe that the relationship we build together is of fundamental importance to the healing and transformation process and that therapy is most effective when the conditions are created that allow you to bring your full self into the space. I value the importance of creating a warm, welcoming and safe environment to explore what is creating suffering in your life and what may be contributing to dissatisfaction in your relationships. Through open, honest, collaborative, and meaningful dialogue, growth and healing will occur.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I view purpose, significance, fulfillment, self-acceptance and self-responsibility as foundations for leading a meaningful life; and I believe that a safe, supportive environment promotes the development of these characteristics. The healing power of an empathetic, caring, authentic relationship, including acceptance, trust, and respect, helps develop an attitude of love, openness, and self-acceptance, which promotes growth-seeking efforts, and serves as a prerequisite for deepening relationships with others. My work is grounded in a commitment to respecting individual differences, helping people access and honor their moment-to-moment experiencing, and empowering them to follow their truth. On my path, psychotherapy has become one of the most fascinating journeys of my life. It has made a profound impact on me and has contributed to my life in immense ways and it is my hope to be able to give others this meaningful experience while joining them on their journey.
