About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples navigating challenges such as eating disorders, trauma, body image concerns, perfectionism, identity exploration, and life transitions. I’m especially committed to supporting those whose struggles often go unnoticed, including LGBTQIA+ individuals. My approach is grounded in empathy, self-compassion, and practical tools to help you build a kinder relationship with yourself and move forward with clarity.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I’m committed to helping you heal in a way that feels authentic to you. I take an integrative and humanistic approach, blending techniques like somatic practices, mindfulness, and behavioral strategies to provide personalized support. I have extensive experience in the eating disorder field and have seen firsthand that struggles don’t always fit societal expectations, which is why I focus on providing care to those whose pain often goes unnoticed. In addition to eating disorders, I work with individuals and couples facing trauma, codependency, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I also work closely with the LGBTQIA+ community, providing a space where queer and trans individuals feel truly seen and supported. My goal is to help you build self-compassion, release shame, and move forward from a place of clarity. Healing has no set timeline, and I’m here to support you at your own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe true healing happens when we challenge both societal and personal narratives. I’m passionate about creating a space where clients feel heard, validated, and supported in their unique experiences. My work is deeply rooted in empathy, self-compassion, and a commitment to social justice. I actively support the LGBTQIA+ community and strive to provide affirming care for queer and trans individuals. I also advocate for greater awareness of eating disorders, particularly among those who don’t fit the narrow stereotypes often portrayed. My approach is centered on meeting each person where they are, honoring their lived experiences, and helping them cultivate a more compassionate relationship with themselves. Healing is not a linear journey, if you’re ready to explore and grow, I’d love to work with you.
