About My Clients
You want to think straight again. To get back to normal, to be happy. Maybe it is a recent event that hit you out of nowhere such as an illness, the loss of a loved one, or a divorce. Or maybe it is old memories from childhood that still haunt you, and get in the way of the life you want now. It is my goal to help you to develop a deep trust in the process of life. Together we can figure out how you can create a better life.
My Background and Approach
I enjoy working with trauma, spirituality and life transitions. Clients who work with me appreciate my straightforward and down to earth approach. With over 25 years experience I get to the point pretty quickly, and can offer insight on patterns and options for change. I offer in person and online counseling. I am trained multiple trauma modalities including EMDR. My style of counseling is very intuitive & empowering.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that things happen for a reason, and if we are open, we can see how cared for we are in the Universe. I believe that spirituality has a strong connection with thriving and will work to align with your sprirituality/ religion. With a double major in Psychology and Gender Studies, I have a long history of examing issues surrounding culture, gender and mental health. Although I have a strong religous history, I now align with an eclectic blend of spiritual practices. I use intuition and spirituality strongly in my practice of therapy.
