About My Clients
I enjoy helping clients work through complex trauma, including medical trauma; women’s health and LGBTQIA+ well-being; couples and non-traditional relationships; and anyone who finds it challenging to live in a neurotypical world. Together we will dismantle external forces that impact how you move through the world and discover and embrace each chapter in your story that makes you uniquely you.
My Background and Approach
I use EMDR and IFS to help relieve symptoms of trauma, eating disorders and anxiety. I offer ADHD and ASD assessments to help clients gain a better understanding of their neurodivergence as well as help with school or work accommodations and tools for embracing and enhancing their unique brains. I use play and art therapy with kiddos 12 and under. My training in both counseling and nutrition puts me in a unique position of providing comprehensive care for issues around eating, body image, and digestive health, while also being able to focus on nutrition-specific or psychology-specific concerns, such as anxiety, depression and other developmental matters.
More About the People I Treat
I am passionate about working with women around the psychological toll of health issues, especially pain, infertility, and postpartum depression and anxiety. I am an LGBTQIA+ focused therapist, supporting gender affirming care coordination, working through discrimination felt by community members, and those exploring how they fit into this community.
