I have specific training in working with parents of LGBTQ children.

I have specific training in working with children who have experienced a significant loss and parents who have lost children.

My approach is grounded in body acceptance and body positivity. Our bodies will shift for many reasons. While this is an expected process, our society has constructed harmful norms and expectations. My work with clients involve breaking down unhealthy messages and becoming more connected and grounded to the body in the pursuit of acceptance and then celebration of your body, as it is, for all it can do.

Cognitive behavioral therapy can be a helpful tool for addressing maladaptive thought-behavior patterns that we have created to cope with our world. I have a decade of experience with providing clients with tools and information on how our thoughts impact our emotions and behaviors.

My primary orientation is based in humanistic approach. I believe strongly that everyone inherently has positive attributes that can lead to success. My job is to help client's explore their strengths, and provide tools and perspectives that add value.
