Our current society is filled with stimuli that can be quite overwhelming. For someone who is innately more sensitive to these stimuli, the world can sometimes feel like too much to bear. I specialize in helping HSPs process their experiences, find ways to reduce exposure to certain stimuli, and develop personalized coping strategies to soften the impact of those stimuli they either cannot or do not want to avoid.

Job stress, anxiety, and burnout are some of the biggest deterrents to client wellbeing. Through processing, developing healthy coping mechanisms, and creating a plan for a more balanced life, I assist clients in finding ways to live more authentically while remaining productive in their work environment.

One of my greatest passions is helping others accept and appreciate themselves exactly as they are, while understanding that there is always room for personal growth. Together, clients and I sort through what efforts are deserving of their energy and what efforts may be causing more harm than good to their overall wellbeing.

A person-centered approach is the basis of the therapeutic relationship. I create an environment that is client-led, resulting in a collaborative rather than directive approach to therapy. No one knows your life better than you do, I am simply here to guide you to the answers that are already within.

Utilizing experiential therapy techniques, I facilitate activities in session and assign homework outside of session that allow a client to practice the skills and concepts that are brought up through processing.

Clients seeking meaning from their experience benefit exponentially from an existential approach to therapy. Through processing, a client can begin to both challenge and solidify their beliefs, figuring out what truly belongs to them and what may be coming from outside sources. Existential therapy allows a client to live more authentically throughout the world.

As someone who once struggled with severe anxiety, I am passionate about helping people find their own unique tools to help manage their symptoms, reframe their thoughts, and rewire the neural pathways that contribute to a dysregulated nervous system. Ketamine assisted psychotherapy is also a useful tool for anxiety that may be offered if a client is interested and medically eligible.

Managing potential feelings of jealousy and possessiveness, setting comfortable boundaries, and finding ways to maintain a special connection are essential in sustaining and healthy polyamorous relationship. I enjoy helping clients to identify misalignment and communicate in ways they may not yet be able to do on their own to make this possible.
