Therapy is all about personal growth, and I take an integrative approach to helping clients grow in the ways that they feel will be most beneficial. For clients looking to heal from trauma, I incorporate somatic interventions and EMDR when appropriate. For clients looking to live more authentically, we will explore what that looks like and what has held them back in the past. I love creating the space for clients to grow in whichever way most compels them.
I've worked with many couples and individuals experiencing a wide range of relationship issues. As a sex therapist in training, I have experience with sexual dysfunction, a difference in desire, out of control sexual behavior, recovering from sexual shame, and improving overall sexual experience. I'm also familiar with helping clients break out of codependency, recover from infidelity, improve communication, and navigate polyamory or open relationships.
I have a passion for helping clients navigate what their own spirituality looks like and how they can incorporate it into their lives. I have experience with helping clients overcome religious trauma and explore and cultivate their own unique connection to themselves and others -- no matter what that looks like. I rely on my own spirituality to guide me in work with clients and offer a warm and open space to explore beliefs and connection to oneself and others!
I am an EMDR trained therapist and have completed some advanced training as well. I am a regular participant in a monthly EMDR consultation group with other therapists.

My therapy style and personality naturally align with the person-centered approach. The space that I create in therapy is based on the tenets of person-centered therapy including unconditional positive regard, the belief that each individual has the right and power to discover the best path for their own personal growth, and that an honest, empathic connection helps clients get in touch with and eventually embrace their most authentic selves.
I am currently working on my sex therapy certification with the Sexual Health Alliance in order to eventually become a Certified Sex Therapist with AASECT.
