About My Clients
I originally became a therapist because I needed one when I became a paraplegic in 1997. I almost couldn’t find one with a physical disability so I became one. I also know the specific issues with being in the LGBTQIA+ community because I identify within as pansexual. I also grew up in the church and understand those feelings denial and hating myself. I have since become comfortable and accepting of who I am and that I’m worthy. This also enables me to help with self esteem issues.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy as my client and I are a team with goals. I well versed in trauma and addiction. They often go together, as the beginning of an addiction comes from unresolved trauma.
