I work with couples from all backgrounds, genders, and orientations to assist with creating more harmony. Communication, boundary setting, processing old wounds from previous relationships, rebuilding trust after an affair or addiction, parenting, and home life issues, are all things we might work on in sessions.

Using therapy to help people in the LGBTQ+ community to reclaim their true identity is a passion of mine. I help people who are in the process of transitioning and transforming. I love working with couples as well from the LGBTQ+ community!

I work with clients suffering from trauma using EMDR for issues like driving and flying anxiety, rape survivors, veterans of wars, domestic violence survivors, sexual abuse survivors, people in recovery from disordered eating behaviors, and people who have survived being in relationship with a narcissist or sociopath.

I use Emotion Focused Therapy to help clients process emotional responses and content from their current struggles so that they can change patterns, learn new ways to communicate, and learn new ways to interact with others.

I help people to address strong triggers that cause a lot of distress. EMDR involves discussing traumatic memories, images that go with those memories, fear associated with the memories, and maybe other sensations felt in the body. I notice clients come in with a lot of anxiety about those memories but they leave feeling empowered.

I collaborate with couples to improve communication, address blocks to communication, help clients to listen and speak to each other about boundaries, wants and needs, and goals for the couple. I help couples to process infidelity, broken trust, and imbalances in the relationship. I also help clients to address patterns they see repeating in their relationship.

As a veteran myself, I provide a therapy to vets or military service members.

I help couples from all backgrounds with relationship issues like lack of communication, or setting boundaries, speaking up for ones self, infidelity, rebuilding trust, and patterns of interaction that lead to repeated conflict. I use interventions and exercises from the Gottman method, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

I help people suffering from trauma symptoms using EMDR and CBT to address struggles with hypervigilance, various forms of avoidance and hyperarousal states. I hold a certificate from the EMDR Institute and have assessed, diagnosed and successfully treated clients with great success.

I help people who are actively in recovery from disordered eating and I encourage adoption of intuitive eating, work with clients to address body image, address fears and anxiety, work on obsessive components of EDs, and I welcome all individuals regardless of size, gender, or ethnic background.

I help couples to process affairs and broken trust after discovery of an affair. I work with both partners to encourage open, honest discussion, process expression, and allow the couple to direct the next steps of healing.

It is my passion to assist people who are transitioning to the gender they feel is their true identity. I enjoy helping clients in the LGBTQ+ community to have a voice about their experiences, relationships, and path to healing.
