My Background and Approach
My approach to providing therapy is taking a look at the whole picture, including the client’s childhood, worldview, and current problem areas, and clearing out anything that could be holding them back from happiness and peace. I use EMDR, EFT, I-CBT, DBT, Psychoanalysis, and more, to uncover what led to the current undesirable thoughts and behaviors. My counseling style is laid-back, welcoming, and direct. We will work through the tough topics together, dive deep, and always have room for laughter. My goal is to make myself obsolete by equipping you with the self-compassion, self-confidence, and skills to tackle your current challenges and those that crop up further down the road. I can promise that you will always be in my heart, but hopefully you won't always need my office.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person with the right tools can blossom into the person they want to become. In therapy, you will discover the tools and techniques to help you thrive and live a more authentic life. I'm here to help guide you on that path to empowerment. Some of my personal interests are reading, board games, and coffee.
