About My Clients

I specialize in working with women, young adults, relationship issues, depth work, the LGBTQ+ community, and religious harm/trauma. I really enjoy working with people who are sensitive or have always felt a bit "different." Much healing can be had in challenging messages you've received about who you're "supposed" to be, reconnecting with your body and emotions, accepting yourself as you are, and re-centering your values and your voice.

My Background and Approach

People are best understood up close and within context. Taking together one's unique early relational experiences, biological factors, and identity markers (e.g., ethnic, gender, ability status, sexuality, body size, socioeconomic, religion, etc.) will all influence one's psychological experience. My graduate training emphasized emotions, relationships, and culture in understanding psychological health. And I believe that it is through relationship that we are fundamentally changed, and the door to which our ongoing growth lies. Not only the therapeutic relationship, but your relationship with yourself, with safe and trusted friends and family, and your local and broader community. Hover over the "Techniques I Use" below to learn a bit more about how I work. And please feel free to reach out with any questions to see if we might be a good fit.
