About My Clients
I’ve had the privilege of connecting with children, teens, adults, couples, and families of various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Together, we’ve navigated challenges related to relationship stress, life transitions, self-worth, trauma, and identity, reflected through a variety of symptoms and difficulties.
My Background and Approach
In our sessions, I strive to create an atmosphere of sincerity, empathy, respect, and above all, safety, as I come to understand your experience. My style is gentle and careful, yet I see the value in challenging you when unhelpful patterns keep you where you don’t want to be. The therapeutic approaches that inform my work aim to strengthen your capacity to understand important patterns, face these with self-compassion, and make changes outside of our sessions. It is every human being’s right to be seen, heard, and supported as they move through vulnerability. If these words have resonated, please consider reaching out! I graduated with my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. I have attended special trainings on grief counseling, complex trauma, cultural competency, and a variety of LGBTQ+ challenges. I currently work under a licensed clinical supervisor as an associate MFT in California.
