What I love about therapy is the journey, helping my clients, as they identify and enact value driven choices, accomplishing goals that promote actualizing the meaningful life in which they envision. My Background and Approach
I tend to take an Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Compassion-focused approach. I am a certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist. I am formally trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy. I specialize in the treatment of complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia, substance abuse issues, co-occurring & mental health issues. I have extensive experience working with individuals who struggled with severe and persistent mental illness. I have been a practitioner in the mental health field since 1992. I am a Certified CBT therapist and Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies and a Member of Association Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) for ACT practitioners as well as an active member of ACSB SoCal Chapter. www.socal-acbs.org/team-4
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value therapy, my prices are intentionally on the lower end for those who do not have the luxury of private insurance or may not want to be limited by their insurance provider. I only accept out of pocket payments, upon request I can provide a super-bill for you to submit to your insurance provider.
