About My Clients
I enjoy working with individual, couples, pods, and families on relationship issues and managing emotions. My ideal clientele are those who are goal oriented and have an idea of what they wish to get out of counseling together. I also enjoy working with clients who are open-minded and sex-positive. If you fit into either of these categories or wish to explore your sexuality in a safe environment, I hope you allow me to help you on your journey.
My Background and Approach
I take a client-centered approach to sessions, allowing clients to lead the session when desired. I also integrate an Adlerian approach, exploring how your past has influenced who you are today and helping you overcome barriers blocking you from your ideal future. When appropriate, I integrate an Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach to resolve conflicts we hold within ourselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Personally, I believe nobody will understand us better than ourselves. I also believe everyone has the potential to change and grow at any time in their life. At times we can become stuck or face tough challenges, and I hope you will allow me to be a small part of your overall journey through life. Through lived experienced, I have felt marginalized, judged, and out of place. I believe everyone deserves a place in society where they can feel free to express themselves and live their life in peace.
