About My Clients
Many of my clients are transgender, non-binary, gender fluid, queer, or questioning. They are educators, activists, community organizers, non-profit workers, and university students. They are looking for support regarding anxiety, depression, stress, overwhelm, connection, relationships, family, gender identity, healing from trauma, and chronic health conditions. I work with monogamous and polyamorous individuals, couples, and other relationship configurations.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in contemplative psychotherapy, somatic trauma and attachment approaches (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy), and take a social justice and systems level approach to my work with clients. I use mindfulness and somatic investigations to help find and establish new pathways to wisdom, clarity, and well-being. My sessions can be both playful and challenging, and are a supportive space for what is going on in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work to update counseling training programs to be more inclusive and cultural responsive to BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities.
