About My Clients

I specialize with the LGBTQ+ population. I often work with folx who experience ADHD, and I have training in providing trauma-informed care. I believe that therapy is an opportunity to show up right where you are and receive guidance and support to get to where you want to be. If you're wanting to start, or perhaps continue, your journey of healing, growth, and change, I will meet you where you're at and honor our time together to help you meet your goals.

My Background and Approach

I graduated in 2023 from Northern Illinois University with a Master of Science degree in Marriage in Family Therapy. Between 2012-2019, I studied at Sundust Oracle Institute in Seattle, WA. I did my own deep dive into my personal healing journey while I was also trained to help facilitate holistic modalities of healing for others. I took multiple courses including Mentorship and Leadership: Right Use of Power. Between 2014-2019, I was a TA for several courses at SOI, including Spiritual Identity, Applied Spirituality, Healing Circle, and Flow Circle. Through my formal education at NIU, I was able to synthesize many evidence-based approaches with spiritual principles. My utmost goal is to connect you to your own sense of power and agency and to truly listen to what you are wanting to create for your future. Through empathy, emotional-attunement, curiosity, and accountability, I believe there is a path towards wholeness, healing, growth, and change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that all life is connected and that we all have an ability to hone our intuitive nature and gather personal and collective wisdom from it. I am deeply spiritual at my core, and I love discovering the multitude of ways one's spiritual nature can be expressed. Personally, I love spending time in nature and learning about the rhythms of the animals. I also love to express my creativity through writing. I believe that our creative nature connects us to our well-being, and we often find a sense of purpose and/or enjoyment when we tap into our creative energy. I also believe that anyone who has experienced oppression will likely have greater barriers to accessing this creative nature. This is why I highly value utilizing a person-centered, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach as I work with people.
