I have experience working with anxiety in kids, teens, and young adults. I have training in CBT and DBT for anxiety as well as mindfulness and body work. I work with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, school anxiety, eating disorders, PTSD, and more.

I have experience working at all levels of care with eating disorders, including inpatient work. I utilize a combination of approaches including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and creative therapies to address difficulty around food, body image, and societal influence on diet/exercise culture.

As a member of the LGBTQIA2+ community, and a board member with my local PRIDE organization, I am very connected and aware of LGBTQIA2+ marginalization and problems that stem from this. I work to provide affirming and safe care in all my groups and sessions and work to train my providers to do the same. We provide write 1x letters for surgery or hormones and offer ongoing care as well.

I have over 3 years experience using DBT in a variety of treatment settings. I was trained using DBT inpatient for eating disorders and have applied the skills with many clients in my outpatient practice. I often combine approaches to meet the needs of my individual client.

I was certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Plus, which includes CBT + Anxiety/Depression/Behaviors/Trauma, in 2015. I have also taken courses in CBT modification for use with neurodivergent individuals and in CPT which is an adult modified version for cognitive processing of trauma. I have experience using CBT at all levels of care.

I believe that when we are able to express ourselves creatively through art/music/dance and more, we are able to begin healing. Art can be a great tool when working with kids and teens as well as it gives us a way to connect and communicate with more than words can provide. I personally create and engage in creative activities in sessions with clients to normalize this as a tool. I have over 5 years experience using creative therapies in practice.

I have experience integrating DBT skills spanning over 5 years of work. I first learned to apply DBT at an inpatient center for eating disorders, and have since worked to apply DBT skills with all sorts of intense emotional challenges. I often use a variety of treatments to meet individual needs.

I have experience working with trauma across various settings. I believe that systemic issues can contribute to our experience of trauma and can even be the creator of trauma. Our group provides specialized care for trauma using EMDR, somatic (body-based) approaches, and cognitive therapies.

We provide family therapy specializing in blended families and foster families. We believe that it is often true that our environment and those we are around have an impact on our wellbeing and how we learn to interact. Family involvement can be critical to treatment of children, teens, and adults struggling within interpersonal relationships of those in the home.

Feminist therapy approaches can be applied when working with any marginalized identity. I enjoy focussing on how systems impact your wellbeing and helping to empower you to step into your power. Harmful systems can create external and internal stories that are overwhelming, difficult, and feel impossible for one person to change...AND you can learn to take what control you do have and use it to make change in your life and encourage others to do the same.
