My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York with years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, life transitions, low self-worth, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy — I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and care. I work collaboratively to help you explore what’s holding you back, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward meaningful change. I bring a nonjudgmental, grounded presence to our work, and aim to create a space where you can feel safe, seen, and heard. Many of my clients identify as introspective, sensitive, or creative — and are seeking therapy not just to reduce symptoms, but to understand themselves more deeply. Therapy with me is an open-ended, reflective process that meets you where you are and honors the unique path you’re on. believe growth happens in connection. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be fully seen, heard, and valued without fear of judgment. I approach my work with humility, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed, and committed to anti-oppressive practice. I support mental health access for all and believe therapy can be a space for both individual and collective healing. I stand with movements that advocate for racial justice, gender equity, and the rights of marginalized communities. My work is guided by values of compassion, authenticity, and justice. Outside of therapy, I care deeply about music, creativity, and building meaningful connections. I'm always learning and growing — alongside my clients and within my own life. I believe therapy should honor your full humanity and that healing becomes possible when we feel safe enough to show up as we truly are. I hope I can support you to continue to find your truest and best self.
