About My Clients
I provide individual therapy to adults. I use a variety of treatment methods, such as CBT, DBT, Family Systems Theory, and others to help my clients heal in whatever way works best for them. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, low self-esteem, spirituality, religious trauma, relationship issues, trauma, ADHD, divorce, parenting challenges, eating disorders, and difficult life transitions.
My Background and Approach
My experience working in mental health has taught me a lot about what all humans need to improve their mental health. It has also taught me the importance of understanding what makes each person unique. Working in several types of treatment settings helped me learn to be flexible and think outside the box. My most important take-aways from all my experience are these 1) we are never alone in our struggles and 2) therapy is not one size fits all. I base my therapeutic approach on the needs of each client individually. I believe that the relationship between a therapist and client is the most important thing in therapy. I want my clients to feel safe, respected, understood, and cared for as we work together. I strive to create a space that is free of judgment, believes in hope when situations feel hopeless, and offers unconditional acceptance. I welcome feedback and believe open communication is key to successful therapy.
