About My Clients
My clients are telehealth only at this time. I work closely with couples, individuals and people in life transitions. I love when someone comes to me and sees all that they think is going wrong and I help them to see things from a new and more energetic perspective. Working with issues like addiction, relationship issues, self-esteem, symptoms of low mood and anxious thoughts. Working with boundaries in people's lives and creating a new more joyous narrative of their own.
My Background and Approach
I come from an Attachment Theory (science) approach and work to create a warm environment, free of judgement. I am Registered Marriage and Family Therapist with over two years of seeing clients, and love looking at therapy as a road for the client back to themselves. Integration of all of our child self, teen self and adult self is key in my practice. I do a lot of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, weaved in with a "roots to wings" approach- where were you...? where do you want to go...? I use a great deal of humor and positivity in my practice but steer away from toxic positivity. Being a natural empath makes my role as your therapist not only an honor, but as fluid expression of my heart for humanity and its emotions. I use talk therapy in the work of attachment as a means to help me unearth some of the early childhood wounds that may be expressing themselves in maladaptive ways in the here and now.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Life is long and it's built of many, many relationships. The longest relationship is the one that you have with yourself, though. I am here to partner alongside all of the places your heart has been, but your mind hasn't. Reframing your story will become the narrative that will help you gain access to what your life will be and put you in the driver's seat.
