About My Clients

I view the main vehicle for healing as connection: with me, with yourself, with your body, with others in your life, with your environment, and with broader structures and movements. If you're seeking to meet or become reacquainted with all parts of yourself without shame, I would be honored to serve as a supportive guide along the way. We will use therapy as a place to explore what possibilities open up for you when you feel your most connected, authentic, agentic, and free.

My Background and Approach

I am a University of Michigan trained social worker who has provided individual and group therapy, case management, survivor advocacy services, and Title IX advising since 2016. My approach is eclectic, meaning I draw from a number of treatment modalities and tailor our sessions to what works best for you. I have a particular interest in modalities that are trauma-informed, feminist, sex- and kink-positive, non-pathologizing, somatic, and oriented toward liberation for all. Regardless of modality, I believe that our therapeutic relationship is a critical component of good therapy, and I will invest in building a safe and trustworthy connection over time through curiosity, authenticity, and transparency. I am compassionate, flexible, creative, and (sometimes) funny. In addition to my work as a therapist, I am a UMich PhD candidate writing a dissertation on campus sexual harm. I love learning, and I'll engage in formal and informal education opportunities for the rest of my life.

My Values as a Therapist

As someone who has sat on both sides of the therapist's office, I deeply believe that healing is possible for everyone. I take the power inherent in being a healthcare provider seriously, and it's important to me to understand how power dynamics and identity-based oppression have shown up in your life and to disrupt how they may show up in our relationship. I believe that you are the expert of your life, not me. My style is humble and non-judgmental, centering your consent and prizing dialogue over directives. Outside of work, I am committed to advocating and organizing for disability justice, harm reduction models, reproductive justice, and restorative and transformative justice. I have particular passions for increasing protest safety and digital security for activists and expanding access to comprehensive and inclusive sex education for all. I am a reader, cinephile, gamer, and all-around pop culture enthusiast who finds spiritual fulfilment through art. I also love to rest!
