I specialize in treating - Anxiety, Depression, Grief & Loss, and Couples or relationship counseling. I also have experience treating those who are newly diagnosed with a chronic or life limiting illness and their family members.
My Background and Approach
I offer services to children, teens, adults, and couples. In our sessions we will work together to improve your life satisfaction, find peace, discard behaviors and thoughts that are interfering in your life and holding you back from where you would like to be. I have over 10 years of Master's level experience as a clinical social worker and bring a wide range of knowledge and experience to my practice. Please contact me if you are ready for change. I offer free 30 minute consultations. I provide counseling/therapy services for a broad spectrum of issues and specialize in: anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, end of life issues, caregiver fatigue, women's issues, men's issues, relationship challenges, those living with chronic illness, trauma, and mood disorders. I offer appointments in mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the fundamental human right to have access to affordable and quality mental healthcare. This is why I save 25%-30% of my sessions for clients that cannot afford my full fee. I offer sliding scale rates to clients that go as low as $60 per session. I support organizations that fight against mental health stigma and access. I volunteer with my local Red Cross chapter to provide disaster mental health services to those in need. I am completely supportive and welcoming of all genders, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. I have a great depth of experience working with many marginalized groups and minorities. I have spent time professionally and personally fighting for racial and other equity issues. I love the outdoors and exploring new places! I am an open minded positive therapist who hopes to support you in your journey!
