About My Clients
I specialize in working with kink and LGBTQIA+ communities, artists, and creative professionals. But most everyone I see is simply looking for a place where they can show up fully, without hiding parts of themselves to access quality, compassionate mental health care.
How I Can Help You
Have you ever compartmentalized, edited, or hidden aspects of yourself so you could access therapy? You absolutely should not have to. You deserve quality mental health care without shame or stigma, where you can show up fully without fear of being judged or pathologized for your identity or desires. This includes kinky individuals and relationships, sex workers, non-monogamous relationships, queer, ace, trans, non-binary, and gender expansive people, and those who live at the intersection of multiple identities and sites of marginalization. Your mental health care should be as inspired and creative as you are, supporting artists, creative professionals, innovators, and organizers whose job is to thrive outside the box, push beyond the status quo, and demand a better, more just, and vibrant world. If you're ready to feel more in control of your life, more loving and accepting of yourself and others, and more resourced and supported, I'm here for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Other things to know about me? I’m a big geek, and firm believer in the power of pop culture (film, TV, comics, games, and books) to offer allegories and language for shared experience. I love scavenging succulents for my garden, building LEGOs, and cuddling with my two chihuahuas (dogs are great therapy). I'm a white, queer, AFAB gender non-conforming clinician committed to anti-racism practice, cultural humility, and accountability in all aspects of my life and work. I am continuously training to provide quality, culturally informed, client-centered care for the BIPOC communities I work with. My practice is informed by disability justice and anti-colonial principles, including the Mad Movement and alternatives to biomedical approaches to mental health. Want to learn more?
