About My Clients

I specialize in providing holistic and affirming care to queer, trans, and gender-expansive folks, as well as folks navigating religious trauma and faith deconstruction. I work with individuals (~16+ y.o.) and partners, including ethical non-monogamous partners and/or multiple partners, navigating trauma, life transitions, intimacy, and more. I enjoy working with innate people pleasers, folks exploring their identities (maybe for the first time!), & people feeling navigating life transitions.

My Background and Approach

Looking for a space to show up fully and explore how to identify your own needs, let alone meet them? Maybe you’re questioning or walking away from religion, wondering what the hell life is going to look like. Or, perhaps you’re exploring and expanding your queerness and looking for a space to navigate that together. Been there. You deserve a space to voice your needs and feel at home in your body, and I prioritize creating a space that feels welcoming, radical, and like you can show up fully as yourself (take your shoes off, grab some fidget toys, eat candy, you do you!). I love getting to build deep and beautiful therapeutic relationships with clients, ones that feel brave, affirming, and like I’m on your team (because I am!). I pull from holistic approaches to therapy, including attachment-based, emotion-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-focused, while employing a social justice, feminist, intersectional, and systemic framework.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am committed to anti-racism and use a social justice framework in my practice. While acknowledging that rarely can a space be completely safe, I believe deeply that the therapy space should allow clients to feel brave, and I am committed to doing my own work and unlearning through supervision, consultation, readings, and training to create that space for clients. I believe that therapy can be a space to explore your identity, find healing, process experiences and emotions, and more. I have a history of working in LGBTQ+ youth homelessness, family reunification, and child advocacy. As a white, queer, cis-female with a BIPOC partner, my commitment to anti-racism, decentering whiteness, and liberation is deeply personal, as well as professional. My personal and professional values are inextricably intertwined. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, listening to podcasts (mostly Normal Gossip), and finding the best iced latte in Atlanta!
