About My Clients
My special interests are addiction and recovery, religious trauma, nontraditional belief systems, gender identity, sex therapy, and self-esteem concerns. Reach out if you and a loved one are experiencing relationship distress, recurring conflict, or communication issues. Anyone can benefit from therapy at any time—it's not just for moments of crisis! While therapy can feel intimidating, engaging in self-reflection is one of the most empowering things we can do for ourselves and our relationships
My Background and Approach
I work from an experiential, humanistic approach, and my foundational belief is that my clients are the experts of their own lives. I am here to support you on your journey. Together, we will navigate challenges, engage in thoughtful reflection, and, ultimately, move closer to your goals. Another important thing to know about my work is that I practice from a queer-affirming lens. All identities are welcome and celebrated in my office! Additionally, I am Phase One certified in Brainspotting, a technique that uses the mind-body connection to help folks process trauma. Brainspotting is a great addition to talk therapy and can be especially useful for folks who are internal processors.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves care, respect, and support. Whoever you are and whatever your background, you are welcome in my office. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and advocate for folks of all gender identities and sexualities. I am sex-positive and kink friendly. Additionally, I have experience working with new age spirituality and am knowledgable about most new age modalities.
