About My Clients
Perfectionism, people-pleasing, masking, and over-thinking can hold you back from feeling your best. I believe that genuine compassion for oneself is the foundation of an empowered life. I work with clients who struggle with these areas. Most have a complicated past, neurodivergence, or anxiety that is holding them back. Together we can work through these obstacles so you can learn skills to help you genuinely enjoy life, feel proud of yourself, and bring yourself more fully into this world.
My Background and Approach
Apprehensive about therapy? I have successfully worked with many teens and adults who are new to therapy, have had bad experiences in the past, or struggle to open up. I aim to create a welcoming, genuine, and humorous environment so you feel comfortable being truly yourself, however that presents in this moment. During session, I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, create a comforting atmosphere, and role-model the kind of respect and compassion I hope for you to instill in yourself. We can meet in-person outdoors for nature therapy in either Frederick or Walkersville, or we can meet virtually from the comfort of your home in Maryland. I offer "Super Bills" for those whose insurance provides reimbursement for Out of Network coverage, and I offer sliding scale pricing ranging from $95-155/session, depending on availability. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that by creating a compassionate environment htat respects your needs, we can co-create an environment where you will feel comfortable opening up, being vulnerable, and learning new ways of being that can help you achieve your goals. I also believe in continuous education, which is why I frequently attend new trainings, peer consultation groups, and consult weekly with a doctoral-level counselor so that I can provide you with the highest level of care.
