About My Clients
I have a passion for supporting partners, families, and individuals in the queer community and who identify as neurodivergent. I am adept at supporting growth addressing trauma, self-esteem, gender identity, sexuality, executive functioning, and relationship dynamics. I support you and your relationships through a collaborative and strength-based approach. I value your lived experience.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is rooted in a person-centered, strengths-based model, designed to empower you to explore your narrative and personal strengths. The foundation of my work is based on the belief that each person's journey is unique and deserving of respect and affirmation. I have a deep commitment to promoting mental health and well-being within diverse and often underserved populations through an anti-oppressive lens. My journey in this field has been informed by my own lived experiences as well as ongoing training and consultation, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to the therapeutic relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am strongly embedded in various social-justice-based values that I hold close to the way in which I approach my practice. I believe that progress is a process and that my journey in the areas I care deeply about is never-ending and constantly expanding. I uphold joy, rest, accountability, compassion, and interconnectedness as some pillars of a life built upon being well and in connection with others. My practice, as well as my life personally, are lived according to being queer and trans-affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, disability justice-oriented, anti-racist, community and mutual aid based, harm reduction forward, and anti-capitalist.
