My Background and Approach
I'm your steadfast guide—serving New York City and New York State—through the labyrinth of identities, relationships, and complex traumas, especially in LGBTQAI2+, BIPOC, kink, trans, GNC, sex-positive, and ENM/poly communities. I work with individuals and relationships. I’m a first-generation Iranian-American, nonbinary, white-passing, and masc-presenting human with two counseling master's degrees. I work with humans—individuals and partners—on topics including anxiety, stress, sadness, depression, mood, feeling stuck or exhausted, trauma, grief, relationships, and more. My warm and affirming approach integrates somatic therapies, parts work, Eastern and Western philosophy and spirituality, mindfulness, non-violent communication, DBT, and CBT. You deserve a competent, confident ally who can navigate this quest holistically—mind, body, and soul—and won't settle for a guide who can't embrace every facet of you.
